The Chardon Group was established in 1993 as a manufacturer specialized in the production of cable accessories for underground power distribution. In addition to supplying components to most of the OEMs and energy companies in North America, the Chardon Group has expanded globally to Central and South America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Our cable accessories have been certified by various international laboratories such as Keri, Powertech, LAPEM and QCERT, being able to certify our products under various international standards such as IEEE and IEC as well as under the ISO standard for quality and process control.
The quality of our products is our main priority. This is why all our accessories, like all our raw materials, are subjected to rigorous quality control. All of our accessories are 100% checked to guarantee highest quality and operation standards in the field and for our clients.
All of our cable accessories are completely interchangeable/compatible (they meet the interchangeability tests) with those of other brands, making us a strategic ally, with high quality and easy adaptability to different markets.
We have more than 35 years of experience in the electrical and transformer industry supplying accessories and components all over the world.
100% of the components are produced in our plant, ensuring strict quality control, competitive prices and fast deliveries.
We produce a wide variety of components such as dehydrating breathers, rechargeable dehydrators, buchholz relays, oil level indicators with and without contacts, pressure relief valves with and without contacts, radiator valves, thermometers with and without contacts, gas collection devices, drain valves.
Our factory has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing of radiators and an estimated annual production capacity of 20,000 tons. We are globally approved by the main transformer manufacturers in the world and we currently export a large part of our production to America, Europe, Asia and Africa. We produce 520mm wide radiators in various configurations, painted and/or hot-dip galvanized, with the capacity to meet various types of exterior protections required by our customers around the world. We have our own hot-dip galvanizing plant and automatic painting line, we carry out 100% of the production processes in our plant, guaranteeing the high quality of our radiators.
We produce high-performance fans for oil-filled and dry-type transformers, designed to dissipate the heat generated by transformer losses, meeting the specific technical requirements of each region and ensuring fail-safe operation in all industrial zones.
Thanks to a wide variety of available custom options, our fans can be selected based on specific airflow requirements, diameter, dimensions, noise level, corrosion class (up to C5-I&M high durability), colors, IP Class (up to IP66).
We produce cooling systems for marine, mining, offshore, Explosion-proof, tropical environments and with ambient temperatures up to 70°C. We also produce cooling systems (OFWF, OFAF, AFWF, AFRF) in air and oil with the capacity to meet the technical requirements of our global customers.
We supply rubber bags for expansion tanks in oil immersed transformers up to 1000KV. We are currently approved and supplying more than 10,000 units per year globally to manufacturers around the world. We produce rubber bags up to 12mt (***esto se puede corregir en la version en español??) long and 3mt wide. We also specialize in the production of flexible oil storage tanks with capacities up to 100m3.
We have been producing insulating materials for over 20 years to customers all over the world. We offer a complete solution for the distribution and power transformer sector with products such as: pressboard, Paper, Kraft Paper, Diamond Paper, Multilaminate Wood, Crepe Paper, Crepe Paper Tubes, Plywood, Angles and Rings, Cotton Tapes, Tapes Polyester, Nomex Paper, Phenolic, Fiberglass.
We supply complete porcelain insulators for distribution and power transformers, with all their accessories. Our insulators are produced according to various international standards such as: DIN, ANSI, IRAM, as well as other international standards. We are a factory with more than 25 years of experience in the industry, we have a staff of more than 450 people.
We are currently exporting to more than 30 countries in North America, South America, Europe, Russia, Asia and the Middle East.
We have been producing for more than 20 years of single-phase and three-phase switches, two and four ON-OFF positions up to 630A, 25KV. At our 30,000 square meter facility, we have our own high-voltage testing laboratory equipment, PD testing equipment, X-ray testing equipment, and other critical equipment required to ensure the quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers.
We manufacture tanks and corrugated panels for distribution and power transformers. We have two automatic (se puede corregir en el texto en español??) production lines to attend the needs of local and global OEMs.
We produce corrugated tanks for distribution and power applications, according to the particular specifications of each project, such as: submersible transformers, transformers with conservator tanks, transformers with OLT, dry-type transformers. Maximum total weight is 7500kg. Maximum dimensions are 4000mm x 4000mm x 4000mm.
We produce corrugated panels to be used in transformer tanks up to 10MVA, with heights from 400 to 1600mm, depth from 50mm to 400mm, embossing and spot welding.
